CONWAY—Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre will hold a sensory-friendly performance of “Much Ado About Nothing” 2 p.m. July 5 at Reynolds Performance Hall on the University of Central Arkansas campus. The family-friendly adaptation runs June 28 through July 7. Working in conjunction with UCA’s occupational therapy department, Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre designed the July 5 performance to be suitable for those with sensory-processing deficits. Freedom Fest hosts fireworks on June 30

For the fourth year, City Church will host Freedom Fest for the city of Conway. The first two years the event was held in Laurel Park. Last year, the event was moved to Beaverfork Lake where it will be held again this year. The event is free beginning at 5 pm and ends around 9:30 when the fireworks are finished. The fireworks show is expected to last 15-20 minutes.
