Conductor Announces Application Period for the Second Cohort of the 10x GROWTH Accelerator

CONWAY–The Conductor today announced the official application period for the second cohort of a 20-week program designed to scale Arkansas’ high-growth tech and tech-enabled ventures. Conducted in partnership with Metova and the Arkansas Economic Development Commission, the scale-up-oriented accelerator will provide targeted support to growth-oriented ventures with additional focus on offering recommendations for improving software scalability and protection from cyber threats. The Studio, a new cowork space, will open in downtown Conway in June 2018. The cowork space is a new venture by Owner Kate Carnahan and Creative Director Jessica Crum of Silverlake Design Studio. Southern Bloodline Apparel wins Collegiate Venture Competition

Student-run company will receive $10,000 award in worldwide competition CONWAY—The Conductor today announced that Southern Bloodline Apparel is the winner of the $10,000 first-place prize in the Collegiate Venture Competition, a competition created by the Conductor to celebrate successful, post-revenue companies run by college students or recent college graduates. In its first year, the competition received applications from student companies around the world, with representation from a number of Arkansas colleges and universities, as well as Drexel University, the University of Chicago and the National Research Saratov State University in Russia. 12th Season of Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre Starts in June

CONWAY — Tickets for the 12th season of Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre went on sale April 16. The lineup for the June 8-July 8 season, which explores the theme of transformation, includes Shakespeare classics The Winter’s Tale; Henry IV, Part One; and a family adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing, as well as Lerner and Loewe’s My Fair Lady.
