Mexican Independence Day celebrated in Simon Park this Friday
Las Delicias and FYI Accounting & Tax Services will be hosting a celebration of Mexican Independence Day on September 14 from 5-9 PM at Simon Park in downtown Conway. There will be Mariachi, Folklore Dancing, and Live Music. The event is sponsored by several Conway area businesses including Don Pepe’s, Taqueria Gonzalez, and Los 3 Potrillos. UCA Hosts Women’s Leadership Network Kickoff Event
August 31, 2018– The University of Central Arkansas Division of Outreach and Community Engagement will host the Women’s Leadership Network (WLN) kickoff event and welcome reception featuring Patricia Poulter, provost and executive vice president of academic affairs. The purpose of this event is to provide women with new leadership opportunities. The WLN allows women from different backgrounds a place to connect, encouraging mentorship and the empowerment of all women. Urban Society Salon opens on Friday, August 31, at 1008 W. Oak Street in downtown Conway. Owners Ethan and Brianne Reed said they began thinking about the new salon in January. Brianne Reed has always wanted a salon. Ethan Reed has always wanted to run a business. The two, husband and wife, decided to be partners in business with the opening of the new salon.
