CONWAY — Haydyn Hudnall, a spring 2023 University of Central Arkansas graduate, has been named a 2023-24 Newman Civic Fellow by Campus Compact, a national coalition of colleges and universities committed to advancing the public purposes of higher education. The Newman Civic Fellowship is a year-long program that recognizes community-oriented students who have demonstrated an investment in finding solutions for challenges posing a threat to communities, both locally and around the world. UCA alumna earns Fulbright Award
CONWAY– A recent graduate from the University of Central Arkansas has received a Fulbright U.S. Student Program award for the 2023-24 academic year from the U.S. Department of State and the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board. Shelby Morris of McAlester, Oklahoma, has received a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship (ETA). Morris earned a degree in elementary education this May, with a minor in honors interdisciplinary studies. Awarded through the Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Foundation, the Goldwater Scholarship is the most prestigious undergraduate scholarship in the fields of natural sciences, mathematics and engineering in the United States. Military Friendly® is owned and operated by Viqtory, a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business.
