UCA Celebrates King With MLK Prayer Breakfast

CONWAY โ€” The University of Central Arkansas Office of Diversity and Community will host the annual MLK Prayer Breakfast Friday, Jan. 17, in the Student Center Ballroom. Breakfast begins at 8:15 a.m., and the official program begins at 9 a.m.

The breakfast is held each year to celebrate the spiritual legacy and moral courage that Dr. Martin Luther King brought to the social justice movement. This yearโ€™s theme is โ€œThe Dream: Vision Beyond 20/20.โ€ The keynote speaker will be Tamika S. Edwards, J.D., executive director of the Social Justice Institute at Philander Smith College in Little Rock.
