Meet Matthew Kakilala, our first Barista in this series.
Matthew has a million dollar smile. He’s always got a smile on his face and a positive demeanor. When you get a chance, go see Matthew at one of the Blue Sail locations.
Matt moved here from Hawaii to go to school at Central Baptist College.

MK: Create relationships with customers and fellow co-workers

MK: V60 Pour-over

MK: It always changes, for now… the “Kraken”

CS: What do you appreciate the most in your friends?

MK: Our main fault (which I feel like I’m talking mostly about myself) is not taking in the moment we are given right now.
CS: Your idea of happiness?
MK: Letting go and Letting God.

MK: My Dad

MK: New Zealand, my ultimate bucket list place.

MK: For now, my ideal occupation would be an owner of a ministry-based coffee shop
