20th Annual Veterans Day Celebration To Be Held At UCA
The University of Central Arkansas and city of Conway will host the 20th annual Veterans Day Celebration on Thursday, Nov. 9 at 1 p.m. on the lawn outside Old Main on the campus of UCA. The formal ceremony begins at 1:40 p.m. The rain location is McCastlain Ballroom.
Conductor To Donate Entrepreneur Kid Book Sets
The Conductor, a public-private partnership driving innovation and economic empowerment in Central Arkansas, is gifting a set of Entrepreneur Kid books to every elementary school in Faulkner County in a ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 2 at 1:30 p.m. in UCA’s Makerspace, Powered by the Conductor. Superintendents and principals from each of the 20 elementary schools in Faulkner County will receive the signed books during the event.

Ancil Lea launches new book

Third year for Thriller in the Park
For the third year, Funk Fusion Company will present the Thriller in the Park event, free for kids and parents. The event will take place on Tuesday, October 31st from 6 to 8 PM at Simon Park in Downtown Conway.
EcoFest enters its nith year
For the eight years, Conway will host EcoFest at Laurel Park October 14, 2017, from 11 AM to 4 PM. The festival includes 9 sections which will educate and challenge event attendees.
Conway Alliance for the Arts teams up with UCA for ArtsFest
The University of Central Arkansas continues to be a part of ArtsFest, Conway’s yearly celebration of music, visual art, theatre, dance, creative writing and film, which will take place for one fun-filled day, Saturday, Oct. 7.
