CONWAY—The Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre at the University of Central Arkansas and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Literary and Performing Arts will partner on a production of Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night.” Stacy Pendergraft, co-director of UA Little Rock’s School of Literary and Performing Arts, is piloting and teaching a new theatre course called Theatre on the Road. UCA receives grant funding from Arkansas Opioid Recovery Partnership

CONWAY—The University of Central Arkansas has been awarded nearly  $24,000 in opioid settlement dollars to provide naloxone doses and training on its administration to students, faculty and staff. Through the Naloxone Hero Project, the funding comes from the Arkansas Opioid Recovery Partnership and will allow campus employees to distribute naloxone doses during an emergency. CONWAY — The University of Central Arkansas has named Abayi Ibro Ayouba as assistant director for the Center for Community and Economic Development (CCED). UCA hosts art exhibition ‘Disorder: A Hard Pill to Swallow’

Anna Wagner first alumni artist-in-residence CONWAY —The University of Central Arkansas will host “Disorder: A Hard Pill to Swallow,” an art exhibition featuring the works of Anna Wagner from Monday, Feb. 13, through Wednesday, March 29, in the Windgate Center for Fine and Performing Arts on the campus.
