Music Influences & Inspiration
My grandfather started our family mariachi band (El Mariachi Flores). I grew up watching my dad, uncles, and cousins perform. Music is definitely in my blood. The musicians I most admire are the ones who are not just great vocalists or instrumentalists but great performers. Some of my favorite performers are The Temptations, Bruno Mars, Jason Mraz, Chris Stapleton, Bob Marley (just to name a few). I aspire to always perform with passion each and every time I take the stage. I believe the audience deserves this!
How did you get started?
While attending Henderson State University, I entered the school’s singing competition and was crowned the 2013 “Henderson Idol.” This was the first time I performed on stage in front of an audience. I quickly fell in love with performing live.
