Biz Roundup: More coffee, chicken, bowling, and food and reviews

Conway Institute of Music

In this month’s roundup, we talk coffee, chicken, food news and reviews, a Toad Suck Mini-Golf update, and Bowling for Biz.

Saddle up.

Conway home of great coffee

7 Brew Coffee

Conway, in my opinion, is very blessed to have good coffee shops. They are all good!

Now, add 7 Brew Coffe to the mix. In a sponsored Facebook post, they showed the raising of the roof and proclaimed they would be opening in Conway soon.

The new shop appears to be a drive-through located at the end of Dave Ward Drive right before you get on the interstate.

The Rogers, an AR-based company, is also looking for employees for the new shop.

THINK Coffee

THINK Coffee has expanded recently, adding a location in Vilonia. According to owner John Keith, the coffee shop will open a new location in Greenbrier. Expect it to open in the next couple of months or so.

Chicken galore

We have our share of chicken places in the Conway area too. Of course, we have the two Chick-fil-a, a Slim’s

Chicken, Chicken Express, Popeyes, and Zaxby’s.

Now you can add Louisiana-based Raising Cane’s to the list.

I dropped in on the opening day and surprisingly was able to enjoy a meal.

Many Conway residents were absolutely excited about having a Raising Cane’s.

Facebook Groups

I am in several local Facebook groups, but one of my favorites is Conway Food News and Reviews. There are actual reviews from real people on that group. Everyone has an experience, and it is interesting to see others’. In fact, I found a gem in that group when I met Kevin Herrington, who is doing video reviews.

We have Kevin’s first video review posted. Check it out.

And check out the Conway Food News and Reviews Facebook group. Someone there might convince you to try a new eating place.

Mini Golf Update

Recently, I received an email update from Toad Suck Mini-Golf. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, including Covid, construction was pushed back.

According to the email, the mini-golf is set to open at the end of September. Usually, this extreme heat has subsided by then, and it is great weather for something like mini-golf.

I’ll see you at Toad Suck Mini-Golf.

Bowling for Biz

I participated in the Conway Chamber of Commerce’s Bowling for Biz for the first time in several years.

I had the honor of playing on the team from Partner’s Bank. Additionally, we were paired with the team from Bledsoe Chiropractic.

At lunch, I visited with the marketing team for the athletic department at the University of Central Arkansas. They filled me in on UCA’s move to the Atlantic Sun Conference.

Aside from my arm being a tad sore, I had a great time representing Conway Scene.
