Eco + Arts Fest 2018

Guide to Conway Eco + Arts Fest 2018

Conway Institute of Music

Conway EcoFest is joining forces with Conway ArtsFest to host the only festival of its kind in Arkansas, focusing on environmental awareness and the beauty and value of the arts. This dual-festival is called Conway Eco + Arts Fest 2018.

Conway Eco + Arts Festival will surely be one for the books! You can find all the details on the festival’s website, but we wanted to make sure you knew where to find the most important ones – plus a few bonus events that will be happening after the festival at Laurel Park has closed down.

General parking is located at the Conway High School Administration Building off of Prince Street and the Conway Regional South Lot off of Robinson Avenue. Parking will be marked. Golf cart shuttles will be available for transport from parking lots to event.

Events Outside of Laurel Park

3rd Annual Neighbors, An Art Show

In conjunction with Light Up the Night, The Brick Room will hold “Neighbors,” an art show focused on the Eco + Arts Fest theme, “The World & Water Around Us” from 6-9p.m. Local artists were called to submit their work for the show in order to be selected as finalists. At the art show, you can vote for your favorite work of art. “Neighbors” promises to be a fun evening for the family – let them know you’re coming on Facebook!

Light Up The Night 2018 at on Front Street

Front Street will be closed off to provide the setting for ArtFest’s Light Up the Night, which will include plenty of entertainment – live music, dance and theater. You can eat at any of the fabulous Downtown Conway eating establishments or at one of the food trucks that will be at the event. There will also be a hands-on art workshop and photo booth. More information can be found on the event’s Facebook page.

Brother Bera and Dawson Hollow LIVE at King’s Live Music

Brother Bera will open for Dawson Hollow starting at 8:30 p.m. Cover will be $5 at the door. To learn more about the performer’s sound, visit the King’s Live Music event page.

Underwater Concert & Dance Performance

Now, this event is truly unique. “The Water about Us” is a unique underwater concert and dance performance that will be held at UCA’s HPER Center. Attendees can participate with the performers in the pool or stay dry and watch poolside! This production features percussionist ensemble HEARding Cats Collective and Core Dance. There are three separate showtimes to choose from if you would like to attend this one-of-a-kind experience regarding the daily impact water has on your life.
