FAYETTEVILLE STARTUP WEEKEND, PREMIER ENTREPRENEUR EVENT Immersive Three-Day Experience Offers Entrepreneurs Opportunity to Launch New Ventures

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.: Entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs will gather in Fayetteville, March 9-11 for Techstars Startup Weekend. The event will be held at the Brewer Family Entrepreneurship Hub (123 West Mountain Street Fayetteville, AR 72701).

Techstars Startup Weekends are designed to provide superior experiential education for all entrepreneurs. Beginning with Friday night pitches and continuing through brainstorming, business plan development, and basic prototype creation, Techstars Startup Weekends culminate in Sunday night demos and presentations.

Participants create working startups during the event and are able to collaborate with like-minded individuals outside of their daily networks. All teams hear talks by industry leaders and receive valuable feedback from local entrepreneurs. The weekend is centered around action, innovation, and education.

Haley Allgood, Startup Weekend Organizer and Executive Director of Startup Junkie Foundation, says she is excited to see what participants pitch on Friday night. โ€œAttending Startup Weekend 2015 was one of my first experiences on the Startup Junkie (a Conductor partner) team. I remember entrepreneurs working on their ideas and creating MVPโ€™s for businesses including RaftUp, Lawnly, and LBD.โ€ Local entrepreneur Dennis Wemyss, founder of Give a Damn and 2018 Startup Weekend Organizer, attributes his current position to connections he made at Startup Weekend 2013.

Early Bird tickets to participate are on sale now through January 31. Tickets are also available to the public who want to attend the demos and presentations taking place on Sunday.
