Brand Camp: Marketing meets middle school for four fun days!
CONWAY – This summer, middle school students will join the teams from Eric Rob & Isaac Advertising, the University of Central Arkansas’ University Marketing and Communications Department and the Conductor to create a campaign for the Arkansas Travelers!
Brand Camp is open to incoming 5th-7th graders. Students will have the opportunity to work with industry experts to get hands-on experience with brand development, write and shoot their own TV commercial, design their own custom swag and much more.
“We’re so excited about igniting a creative spark in students,” said Rob Bell, principal of Eric Rob & Isaac. “We love catalyzing the next generation of creative thinkers through this camp.”
The camp is July 8-11 from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The camp is held in UCA’s Makerspace and on the University of Central Arkansas campus. The camp is free for all accepted students.
“The Conductor is so excited about partnering with Eric Rob & Isaac and the University of Central Arkansas’ University Marketing and Communications Department to run this camp for the third year,” said Kim Lane, CEO of the Conductor. “We are inspired by the students’ amazing ideas every year, and can’t wait for students to get real-world experience creating a campaign for the Arkansas Travelers!”
Brand Camp will culminate with a Pitch Day, during which the student teams will present their campaigns to real clients.
Applications for Brand Camp are due Friday, May 10. For questions about this application, please email Dylan Edgell at Dylan@ARConductor.org.
