How did you get started?ย

I began as a dancer. I then became a cheerleader and started singing in the school choir. Then I went on to college cheerleading and then became a professional cheerleader, where this taught me to keep the crowd involved. I was a cheer coach and then when into the Air Force.

During the Air Force, I had a side gig as a model and waited tables as a bartender and a server. This is where I started singing solo at karaoke. When I got out, I taught myself to play the guitar, piano and drums. Wrote a few songs. I earned a degree in Theatrical Arts & Dance. This is where my voice was trained after a vocal coach at the school told me I had a great voice but didnโ€™t know how to use it.

I performed on many stages and took many tour contracts we wearing microphone headpieces, dancing singing acting and tumbling. I was known as a triple threat. I went through an awful divorce, had to move back to Arkansas because I was broke and broken. This is where I formed my first band. Been doing this ever since. Iโ€™m also a Registered Nurse and a Medic from the Air Force. Itโ€™s been quite the journey.

Favorite song to cover? or Perform

“Whatโ€™s Up” by 4 Non Blondes because the crowd loves to sing it with me. I donโ€™t even need to sing it.

How would you describe the music that you typically create/perform?ย

I usually tend to wind you up and then wind you down all in one song. I prefer to take you on a roller coaster of emotion with sound and rhythm. When I write, I focus on the beat behind the music and if it will drive your emotions to a forgotten place in your mind.

The music has to have a vibration behind it. I try my hardest to write songs that are relatable and you can feel my energy when you hear it. I seem to sit back and notice that most of my songs are about women’s struggles or being a daughter or wife. Relationship loss or struggle.

I also write for film so I can write a song about a topic given to me as well. Iโ€™m a multi-genre writer. But on stage, I like it all organic.

If you could go open a show for any artist, who would it be?ย

Alanis, Beth Hart, Joe Bonamassa

How can we find you online and your upcoming events?ย

What do you enjoy doing outside of music?ย

I am a mother of a 10 year old competitive swimmer. Iโ€™m a wife to a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. I love to cook, take care of my family and Iโ€™m also an ambassador for a few brands. One of them being Joe Bonamassa.
