10 million people. 35,000 events. 170+ countries. Every November. One Week.
CONWAY – The Conductor is hosting Global Entrepreneurship Week programming Nov. 18-24, 2019 across Central Arkansas. The programming will include a series of workshops, speaker series, networking events, pitch competition, and hands-on STEM activities.
Started by the Global Entrepreneurship Network, in partnership with the Kauffman Foundation, Global Entrepreneurship Week is a celebration of those who launch startups that bring ideas to life and drive economic growth. During this week, entrepreneurs, economic developers, makers, educators, and innovators come together to celebrate the benefits and importance of entrepreneurship.
โGlobal Entrepreneurship Week allows us to celebrate and encourage entrepreneurship with our community,” said Grace Rains, Conductor Operations Director, โwhile simultaneously celebrating with other organizations and entrepreneurs all over the world. It is an outstanding opportunity for us to see how our efforts in Central Arkansas are echoed around the globe.โ
Participants are able to network, innovate, and explore entrepreneurship, while others collaborate and celebrate across 170 countries. Not just an awareness campaign, Global Entrepreneurship Week serves as a platform for connection and collaboration to strengthen ecosystems around the world by engaging everyone in the entrepreneurship spectrum. Entrepreneurs are exposed to new possibilities and exciting opportunities to further explore their potential as self-starters and innovators, while others are introduced to the topic of entrepreneurship.
This year, in collaboration with our rural outreach efforts, the Conductor has expanded the Global Entrepreneurship Programming to include areas outside of Conway and throughout central Arkansas. โIt is important for us to provide resources, information, and mentors to entrepreneurs in all the communities in central Arkansas, not only to build up our entrepreneurial ecosystem and make it more inclusive,” said Tiffany Henry, Conductor Rural Director, โbut also to continue to drive economic growth throughout Central Arkansasโ.
