Upcoming Senior Health Open House at UCA

The College of Health and Behavioral Sciences along with the UAMS Arkansas Geriatric Education Collaborative will be hosting a Senior Health Open House at the UCA Interprofessional Teaching Center, 2200 Bruce St at UCA on both Monday, March 25th and Monday, April 22nd from Noon – 2pm. See the activities listed below:

• Student-led health screenings (Heart Rate, Blood Pressure, Height, Weight, BMI, Waist Circumference, Pulse Oxygen level, and Vaccination Information).
• Mental health education – Stress management and social isolation
• Individual health coaching for Seniors
• Nutrition education and health snacks (with recipe cards)
• GIVEAWAYS EVERY 15 MINUTES – Health monitors & trackers, blood oxygen monitor, free blood screenings at the UCA Community Care Clinic, recipe books focused on senior adults, exercise plans for Senior adults, and Interprofessional Teaching Center merchandise.
