The first podcast convention in Arkansas comes this September
North Little Rock, AR — American Business Engine will host ARKAST: Arkansas Podcast Convention at The Innovation Hub on September 8, 2022, featuring some of the most successful podcasters from Arkansas in partnership with The Innovation Hub and the Arkansas Arts Council. Panelists will speak on the main stage to speak about their podcast and answer questions about how to be a successful podcaster. The showroom floor will feature the latest microphones and recording tech while ongoing workshops will be available to teach how to create a podcast from conception to distributing across the globe.
General Admission tickets are $12 and VIP tickets grant access to the VIP section with the panelists for $20. Tickets and information are available at www.arkastcon.com.
Attendees will have full access to several workshops that focus on each of the parts of creating a podcast from recording to gaining sponsorships. Audio equipment retailers will provide demonstrations of their available tech. Panelists will include Arkansas podcasters who have found national success such as Hilary Downey, Sarah Heer, and Cliff and Susan Prowse.
