The Barricade Boys Bring ‘West End Party’ To Reynolds Performance Hall

Conway Institute of Music

CONWAY – The University of Central Arkansas Reynolds Performance Hall announces The Barricade Boys on Friday, Sept. 29 at 7:30 p.m.

The United Kingdom’s most exciting musical theater group is headed to Conway to bring their West End Party straight from London. The four powerhouse vocalists are Scott Garnham, Simon Schofield, Kieran Brown and Craig Mather. Between them, The Barricade Boys have an impressive list of West End credits, including Mamma Mia, Wicked, Billy Elliot, The Book of Mormon, The Sound of Music, Phantom of the Opera, and Les Misérables.

The Barricade Boys began when two friends, Garnham and Schofield, wanted to create a night at the musicals like no other, an audience experience that would be much more than just songs from the shows. They created an electrifying evening of entertainment, where favorite musicals blend with some of the greatest pop, rock and swing numbers, performed by four top West End performers.

The evening will include songs from the heart-wrenching emotion of Les Misérables to the toe-tapping harmonies of the Jersey Boys, thrown in with a mix of Billy Joel, Elton John, Queen and more. The Barricade Boys will take you on a musical journey like no other while sharing hilarious and inspiring stories from their time on stage touring the world and performing in some of the biggest shows in West End.

Amanda Horton, executive director of UCA Public Appearances, said, “These sensational entertainers will bring an array of song and dance to the Reynolds stage. Their talent, enthusiasm and charisma will assure a fun night for all as they sing Pop and Broadway hits that we all know and love.”
