‘Schoolhouse Rock Live’ comes to Reynolds Performance Hall

‘Schoolhouse Rock Live’ comes to Reynolds Performance Hall

Conway Institute of Music

CONWAY—The University of Central Arkansas Reynolds Performance Hall presents “Schoolhouse Rock Live!” at 6 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022.

“Schoolhouse Rock Live!” is a pop culture phenomenon that explodes onto the stage, updated for a whole new generation, with imaginative image projections and a rock’n’roll feel. The show centers around Tom, a nervous young man on his first day of being a teacher, who turns on the television to calm himself down and is visited by three aspects of his personality who remind him how learning can be fun.

The Emmy Award-winning 1970’s Saturday morning cartoon series taught history, grammar, math, and more through clever and tuneful songs. Attendees can enjoy memorable favorites such as “Conjunction Junction” and “Just a Bill” along with other sing-a-long songs from the show.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children and students.  Tickets may be purchased online at uca.edu/Reynolds, at the Reynolds Box Office Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., or by calling UCA Ticket Central at (501) 450-3265 or toll-free at (866) 810-0012.
