Originally from Greenwood, AR, Austin Keith has been hanging his hat in Conway for about four years now. He is the oldest of 5 siblings and a musician. He loves writing music and plays with a band called Bro. Bera. Austin isn’t just a barista but he has spent the bulk of his time at Round Mountain Coffee as the main roaster.

I once was almost kicked out of a John Mayer concert for trying to touch the lead singer of Train; worth it
What is your favorite thing to do in Conway?
Ride my nickel board on the Salem park trail while listening to my favorite tunes.
What is the one activity that you can get lost for hours doing?
Writing music!
How long have you been pulling shots?
A year and a half!
What is your favorite part of the job?
Meeting new and interesting people. Also all the free coffee.
What is your favorite coffee brew method?
Aeropress – so versatile!
What is your favorite drink on your coffee shop’s menu?
The Round Mountain Classic. 8oz, local honey, cinnamon. Perfect.
What is your favorite virtue?
I like to think I’m generally positive
What do you appreciate the most in your friends?
That they’re willing to drive me around literally always (haven’t owned a car in 2 years)
What is your idea of happiness?
Traveling, surrounded by people you love, and listening to great music.

Anthony Bourdain. Easy. Or Donald Glover. One for the job, the other for the talent.
Where would you most like to live?
West Coast. Or Australia.

A musician that travels and writes about the local culture (and the coffee, of course).
