I am thankful this year. Conway Scene has grown. I owe a great bit of my thankfulness to Conway Scene team members Lauren Norris and Wells Thompson. This Giving Tuesday, make an impact on the Conway homeless community like never before by participating in #ConwayGives. What is Giving Tuesday? Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. C.D. Wright Women Writers Conference At UCA Set For Nov. 9-10

The conference will take place Nov. 9-10 with headliners Allison Joseph and Megan Mayhew Bergman CONWAY — The C.D. Wright Women Writers Conference will host its second annual event Friday and Saturday, Nov. 9–10 on the University of Central Arkansas campus. The conference includes a Friday evening reading from Allison Joseph, author of numerous books of poetry, most recently Confessions of a Barefaced Woman and Corporal Muse, published recently by Little Rock’s Sibling Rivalry Press.
