Award-Winning Health Sciences Entrepreneurship Boot Camp to Return for a Third Year

Conductor, UAMS, BioVentures and Arkansas INBRE collaborate to host boot camp for undergraduates around the state. CONWAY–Applications are now open for the Health Sciences Entrepreneurship Boot Camp (webpage), a weeklong training program for undergraduate and graduate students that equips them with the skills and knowledge they need to start and fund their own health sciences ventures. A few years ago, I ran into Jeanetta Darley when we both frequented the shop run by The Locals. I quickly found out that she was a kind lady with an eye towards art, and in fact, she is an artist.  At that time she was serving one of the local churches and did a plethora of tasks for them. The past few years I have run into Jeanetta in setting such as Arts Fest, Eco Fest, pop up art shops and more. UCA Theatre To Host Annual Festival Of One-act Plays And Scenes

By Megan Bailey, College of Fine Arts and Communication Media Office CONWAY — The University of Central Arkansas’ Department of Theatre will present their annual Festival of One-Act Plays and Scenes Dec. 3-5 in the Snow Fine Arts Bridges-Larson Theatre. The festival will include 10 student-directed one-act plays and scenes. There are two sets of performances each night, and each performance will run three to four shows.
