Join Bell Urban Farm and the Windgate Museum of Art on the beautiful Hendrix College campus for 2 Seed Swap events in February!
-Screening of Seed Swap in the Ozarks:
Thursday, February 23rd at 7pm @ The Hundley-Shell Theatre at the Windgate Museum of Art join us for a FREE screening of Seed Swap in the Ozarks! Seed Swap follows Dr. Campbell, an anthropologist living in the Ozark Mountains, as he helps to organize a seed swap to be held March 1st 2008 in Mountain View Arkansas… The film showcases the utility of applied anthropology to get the public involved in more localized food systems, presents a wide range of pollinated, heirloom seeds of the Ozarks, and teaches the steps necessary to establish a community seed bank and host seed swaps.
-Conway Seed Swap:
Saturday, February 25th from 10am to 1pm join us at the Windgate Museum of Art for a Conway Seed Swap! This event is free and all are welcome to come share seeds and seed stories. Don’t worry if you do not have any seeds to bring, we will have plenty. Get ready for your spring garden!
