Join us one Saturday a month at 1:00 p.m. to learn from Ash how to create your own comic! This class is for intermediate level artists who are wanting to learn the art of creating comic panels and graphic novels. Brush pens, appropriate paper, pencils, and a ruler will be provided. At the end of the class series you will get to keep all of your supplies! (You do not have to attend every single class, but that is preferred)
Registration will be limited to 15 participants ages 16 and up. The class will last 1 1/2 – 2 hours.
June 18th – “Plotting like a mad scientist”
July 23rd – “Scripting: making it work for you”
August 20th – “Layout: the trickiest part of comics”
September 17th – “Sketching out your story”
October 15th – “Inking better than octopi”
November 19th – “Bubbling: not as fun as it sounds”
December 17th – Demo! (watch a comic come to life from start to finish)
