Conway designer Li Zeng has teamed up with entrepreneur and journalist Erica Swallow to create a book series highlighting problem-solving skills of kids.
Zeng and Swallow recently launched their Kickstarter Campaign for Entrepreneur Kid.
The two professionals have been working for several months including trips to meet each of their four kid entrepreneurs.
Written by technology journalist and entrepreneur Erica Swallow and illustrated by graphic designer Li Zeng, the series is a wonderful tool for introducing children to the concepts of entrepreneurship, perseverance, creative thinking, and philanthropy. Entrepreneur Kid.
The entrepreneurs in the book series include:
- Sebastian Martinez, founder and CEO of Are You Kidding?, a wacky socks company
- Gabrielle “Gabby” Goodwin, founder and CEO of GaBBY Bows, a company that makes patented no-slip, double-faced hair barrettes
- Jason Li, founder and CEO of iReTron, a tech startup that buys, resells, and recycles old electronics
- Rachel Zietz, founder and CEO of Gladiator Lacrosse, a lacrosse equipment company
The entrepreneur duo recently launched a website to help spur information about the project.
According to Swallow, “My vision for Entrepreneur Kid is that it will become the central source of information on youth entrepreneurship,” she said. “Whether they’re searching for local classes, resources, or inspiring stories of kids who have achieved greatly while so young, parents, teachers, and kids can come to entrepreneurkid.com for insights.”
The Kickstarter Campaign has already raised 33% with 27 days to go.
