This weekend is Mother’s Day. How will you spend Mother’s Day? Do you have a family get-together? Do you take mom to lunch?
Mothers are a treasure. Of course, I have a wonderful mother! One thing I think over the years is meeting the mothers of my friends.
Mothers like Ms. McCuin, Ms. Wilson, and so many others I met when visiting friends as a kid. Even now, I am meeting the mothers of my adult friends right here in Conway.
I have many friends who are mothers, and I am so inspired by their work ethic, their love for their children, and the faith they hold on to.
One recent mother I met was Laura Harrod. Laura runs Wholesome Bread which is a cottage food company. She bakes bread, makes muffins and brownies. She is at the Conway Farmers Market every Saturday.
We visited with her to learn more about Wholesome Bread.

Job Fair
There will be a Job Fair for Structurlam at the Conway Chamber of Commerce. The job fair takes place on Wednesday, May 12th, from 12 to 4 pm. Lunch will be provided, and the team from 103.7 The Buzz will be in attendance. See the post on Facebook.

Taste of Conway – Toad Suck Daze
The Taste of Conway portion of Toad Suck Daze will take place each Friday during the month of May. The first is Friday, May 7th starting at 11 am at Rogers Plaza in downtown Conway. Among the vendors this week is Spud Love, a member of our Conway Scene Directory.
Tinkerfest
Tinkerfest is another activity that is specifically designed for children, and it is scheduled for Saturday, May 8th, starting at 9 am.
Toad Suck Tinkerfest provides hands-on, educational activities that incorporate the elements of the STEAM educational curriculum: science, technology, engineering, art, and math.
Toad Suck Daze
