Conway Gives

Conway Gives returns for the second year helping Conway’s homeless neighbors

Conway Institute of Music

All funds will be distributed evenly between The Bethlehem House, City of Hope Outreach, the Conway Ministry Center, Salvation Army, and CAPCA (Community Action Program of Central Arkansas).

Conway Gives is back for Giving Tuesday on December 3rd.

Conway – “The community is coming together in more ways than one,” Laura King stated. “Mone of this would be possible without our friends at the Arkansas Community Foundation of Faulkner County and the Conway Downtown Partnership”.

This is the second year that nearly 100 Conway Gives volunteers will be taking it to the streets of Downtown Conway, Arkansas. Volunteers will be stationed at the corners of Oak & Harkrider as well as Oak & Front St from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm on December 3rd (Giving Tuesday) collecting donations for five local non-profit agencies that provide much-needed services to Conway’s homeless.

Conway gives Campaign Organizer, Laura King said, “This is a great way to support the local organizations that are doing the boots on the ground workday in a day out”.

The Conway Gives community campaign launched in the fall of 2018 after five local non-profits began looking for deeper ways to work together. Conway Gives allows local agencies (that provide specific homeless services) to raise funds without being in competition with one another, and it gives the community the option of donating to causes that are important to them without choosing between agencies.
