Looking for fun ways to celebrate Conway Christmas with your family this year? We have the goods. We have come up with 5 things you can do near Conway for Christmas.
Naturally, you can spend some time downtown Conway. There is a huge Christmas tree, a Ferris wheel, a small Christmas train for the kids, and a funnel cake stand. In addition, you can take a carriage ride around downtown. Now, if only the weather would cooperate and feel something close to being like December, we will be good.

Conway Christmas Parade – Dec 9ย
When you think Christmas in Conway, you think of the Christmas Parade. The parade takes place on December 9th at 6 pm, however, the parade will be preceded by a 1K run as well as a chance for the kids to see Santa Claus!

Christmas Lights via Bikes
Hosted by The Ride, a group of Conway residents is going to get on their bikes and go Chrismas light viewing. The group is meeting at Black Bird Academy about 6 pm to go view lights.

Come out and see some of the best Christmas lights Conway has to offer as we ride our bikes. We will be meeting at the Blackbird Academy parking lot downtown at 6:00 and we will ride from there and return there around 8:00 to warm up inside Downtown Blue Sail as we have fun with some Christmas karaoke. Feel free to decorate you bikes with lights too. The more, the merrier! Ride distance will be 10-15 miles, pace will be 12-15mph. Helmets and light required (decorative lights encouraged, but not required).
Enchanted Forest Trail of Lights
Located at the Sherwood Sports Complex, the park includes a nice display of lights in a drive-through scenario. Admission is free but donations are accepted for a local food pantry. The display is open from November 27 through December 30.
The driving trail is viewable beginning the Monday after Thanksgiving, Nov. 27, through Dec. 30 from 6-9:30 p.m. every evening. Admission is free, however, cash donations or non-perishable food items that will be given to a local food pantry are also accepted and collected at the end of the trail. Everyone will receive a free candy cane. Enter from Bear Paw Road at the Sherwood Sports Complex (just past Sylvan Hills High School).
The Brighter’s Holiday Magic
The Brighter’s show is the longstanding show that used to take place in the Catherine’s Place subdivision in Conway. The Brighter’s moved to Florida and sold their display to Conway’s First Baptist Church. The show starts on Sunday, December 3rd. Additionally, there is a display in Greenbrier.
Festival of Trees – Fairfield Bay, AR
Enjoy the sites and scenery of Fairfield Bay including trees and lights! There will be beautifully decorated Christmas trees on full display from December 1-15 at the conference center.ย Learn more about the event at 501 Magazine.
