ComiConway, Arkansas’ premier Comic, Anime, Sci-fi and Gaming convention, to be held November 15-17
CONWAY – ComiConway, presented by the Faulkner County Library, will be held November 15, 16, and 17, 2019. We will have over 100 pop culture vendors, top writers and artists guests and panels, cosplay contests for all ages, kids’ activities, a game room, and so much more!
Featured guests this year include Cathy Munroe, Freddie Williams, Graham Nolan, Bill Hargreaves, Michael Golden, Jacob Chabot, Freddie Williams II, Arthur Suydam, Renee Witterstaeter, Timothy Lim, Mike Curtis, and Mathew Reynolds.
Events on Friday, November 15, including a cosplay contest, will be held at the Faulkner County Library at 1900 Tyler Street, Conway, and will be free and open to the public.
Events on Saturday, November 16, and Sunday, November 17, will be held at the Conway Expo and Event Center located at 2505 East Oak Street, and include cosplay contests, vendors, panel discussions, displays, and a game room. Admission tickets are $25 for a VIP pass, including a commemorative 2019 ComiConway tee shirt, swag bag, and early admission privileges, or $5 for the weekend pass and $3 for Sunday only admission. Children under 12 admitted free with a paid adult admission.

- Kids Cosplay Contest– Kids 12 and Under $50 cash Prize
- Teen Cosplay Contest– Ages 13-18 $100 cash Prize
Adult Cosplay Contest 17 and up
Categories: Anime, Video Game, TV/Movie, Comic book. One winner, each category to compete for an overall prize of $150.00 cash
4:00 Sunday at the Conway Expo Center
- Group Cosplay Contest- 5:00 PM
- Groups consist of two or more cosplayers. Judging is based on group connection. This is great for friends, families, and foes. One winner $200 prize.
Other events include a Gaming room, Mini-Heroes, GunPla Show, Yule Ball, and a Magic Tournament. There is even an iPhone App.
