Conway Art Walk

Chestnut St. Closed For Last Art Walk Of The Season

Conway Institute of Music

CONWAY, Ark. (May 11, 2021)
The last Art Walk of the spring season means a street closure! Chestnut St. in Downtown Conway will be closed to bring live music to the Art Walk scene. The street closure allows for artists and musicians, such as Community Creative LLC along with Bobby Fish and the Magic River, to compose a collaborative performance. However, this isn’t the only exciting news!

Flavorful kombucha from Rogue Roundabout Brewery will be available to attendees as well as live music in two locations: Chestnut Street and Electric Alley!

Conway Alliance for the Arts (CAFTA) is sponsoring Loveseat Trio, a group that’ll bring the funky jams pairing well with the art from 12+ local creatives. CAFTA will also be hosting the art awards at 6 p.m. in UCA Downtown, so be sure to swing by and check out the winners’ work!

Good music, local art and tasty treats create the perfect destination for a night on the town. Free food, drinks and hands-on activities? Could you ask for more? The answer is no, but you’ll get more at the April Art Walk!

This month’s demo artists are placed in retailers all along Oak and Van Ronkle streets in Downtown Conway, providing the community with flourishing creativity.

The event raises money for creative scholarships for students enrolled at The Creative Institute, a nonprofit equipping creatives to flourish in Arkansas. As this is the last Art Walk of the spring season we encourage you to attend and support all the local creatives! The Conway Art Walk will return in August for the fall season.
