Arkansas Asset Builders will be launching its free tax preparation during the month of January 2022.
According to an email,
“Are you expecting a bigger refund this year than normal? Or are you worried that you may owe money to the IRS? In either case, don’t waste your money on expensive tax prep or instant refund fees. If you made less than $58,000 last year, we want you to get the most out of your refund with free tax prep!”
Arkansas Asset Builders brings VITA services to those who need help with tax preparation. VITA stands for Volunteer Income Tax Assistance and Arkansas Asset Builders have been helping local citizens since 2016.
This year’s services will all be in person.
“Our VITA services will only be available in person this year. Despite the ongoing COVID pandemic, we want to serve you as effectively as possible. Our volunteers will be providing face-to-face assistance with your taxes. However, we ask that all volunteers and clients wear a mask for the health and safety of everyone at our site.”
