Youth Maker Monday: 3D CAD Drawing
Please bring your own laptop if able.
Love 3D Printing? Want to learn how to draw in 3D so you can make your own models to print? Come join our introductory class on 3D CAD! We will use Tinkercad to learn the fundamentals, giving you a basic understanding of drawing in 3D. You will be able to use these skills to help you in math, design, and engineering. Once you draw up your design, we will print your model on our 3D printers and you will be able to have a physical model of what you created on the computer. Prints will need to be designed to the size of 8.5″ x 8.5″ x 8.5″ or smaller to fit our 3D printers.
NOTE – Due to time constraints, you will not be able to leave with your print after the event. We will print them for you, and you’ll be able to pick it up the following day.
Please bring a laptop if at all possible, to keep from having to share a computer with another attendee.
